As soon as we become a mom, or we get wrapped up in our career or business, the focus shifts from primarily taking care of ourselves to having another beautiful being to take care of. So much of our energy and attention goes to ensuring that this little being get's their needs met. We have so many responsibilities and obligations to others...

What is so often forgotten in our culture is that we simply cannot meet the needs of anyone else - our friends, spouses, children, co-workers, when we are ignorant to our own.

Also, within our culture, it is not honored or understood just how important our connection to our WHOLE self is, including and particularly our sexuality.

Pleasure is vital for a life well-lived. If we do not allow ourselves to experience pleasure, we essentially are teaching our children to do the same. In fact, pleasure is at the essence of an integrated, awakened & conscious life.
